Noctera are elusive and inquisitive Pokemon whose sightings only date back to the past several decades. Camouflaged in the dark, these nocturnal Pokemon nest deep within forests, where their curiosity often gets the better of them. They are attracted towards sources of light and are known to stalk hikers or campers who enter their territory, often following them far outside of the forest’s border. Though the sight of their large, red eyes glowing in the dark leaves witnesses scared and unsettled, Noctera are not violent and are not prone to attacking even when provoked. While some people find it off-putting that they are capable of rotating their head over 90 degrees in either direction and do not need to blink, Trainers who befriend this Pokémon find themselves a loyal ally who can use their sensitive antennae to sense misfortune and disasters before they occur. When Noctera unfurl their large wings, they can take flight at alarming speeds.
