Vulkhet are timid carrion-eaters who wait quietly by the side while larger predators eat the meals they want. They only become brave when in large flocks.
All the Vulkhet in a flock will burst into flame simultaneously to scare other Pokémon away from their food. Sometimes they lose control, however, and the flock is forced to fly away and abandon their meal until the wildfire dies down.
