The Boiler Cannon Pokemon: If a Tintreads cannot gather enough electricity after a certain amount of time, its body will undergo a drastic change into a Boilernaught. These Pokemon find flammable substances to shovel into their bodies, where it is burned to fuel the cannons on their bodies. If they are lucky enough, they will find old metal deposits, and gorge themselves on the rubble. The metal is melted down and poured through the panel on its shoulder, while slag reserves are kept as ammunition.

In battle, Boilernaughts will shoot molten slag or flaming woodchips at high velocity. These barrages have enough force to perforate a solid wall of bricks, and the slag can cause severe burns. The steam that comes out of the "tail" of a Boilernaught is also very hot, causing 2nd degree burns on the areas of exposure. Boilernaughts are very loyal as long as they have a steady supply of fuel to burn, so clubs, police departments, and even higher-class citizens utilize them as guards or bouncers.

Evolves by surviving 1,000 points of damage as a Tintreads at Level 40.
