Origin of the Names:
"Chick" and "Atena"
"Kick" and "Minerva"
DESCRIPTION OF CHICKENA:
Initially, it was only a fighter, it hasn't the Fairy Type.
These young intelligent creatures were used as pets in the houses of farmers, while the parents were used as eggs producers. The Kinervas' eggs are very tasty and full of proteins, but the farmers exploited too much the Kinervas, who were really tired.
Chickena ran away from the farm and tried to fight every day and remain alive in the nature.
One day, Chickena met a Fairy Gem and, touching it, it became a Fairy-Fighting Kinerva.
DESCRIPTION OF KINERVA:
Initially, also Kinerva was a only Fighting Type Pokémon, but since that Chickena touched the gem, the species has got the Fairy Type.
Kinerva, like its pre-evolution, is very smart, it can trick and kick predators like Thievuls.
This Pokémon normally can't fly, but its Fairy powers make it soar.
Inspirations:
- Atena or Minerva, the Goddess of Smartness and the right War.
- Chicken, Kinerva is inspired by the White Faced Black Spanish one.
