Gowatu sit quietly up in the treetops where their bright green colors allow them to blend in with the leaves. If they are startled or frightened they will scream, shake their feathers and hop up and down on their branches to make as much noise as they can.
Gowatu feathers are stiff and will rattle if shaken together. Children often collect armfuls of these feathers and use them to create noisemakers.
