Mephodil manipulate the feelings of the Pokémon and people around them by releasing different scents and pollens from their flowers. A Mephodil's opponent often walks away from battle thoroughly confused.
Mephodil cannot bear the sight of untended gardens. Whenever they see a patch of wilted plants they are compelled to stop and care for them until the flowers bloom again.
