Falcavi fly by spreading the wings on their backs. These wings are still too short to hold them aloft for long periods of time, so for long-distance flights Falcavi must flap their arms for extra lift.
Even though they are still mastering flight, Falcavi can dive with incredible speed. When they tuck their wings and arms in and point their bodies downward, they can fall so fast that it is impossible to see them until they strike.
