Chaszin are silent and stealthy in spite of their large size and many legs, able to creep around their sleeping targets and bite them totally unnoticed. At first the venom they inject only keeps their prey asleep, but left untreated it can leave victims feeling sick and weak long after the Chaszin is gone.
Chaszin attacks on humans are relatively rare but are almost always successful and leave the victim quite ill. They are clever enough to cut through or disable almost any defense put in their way, so those concerned about Chaszin bites resort to having powerful Pokémon protect them during the night.
