The Mournful Willow Pokemon: In ancient tales, there once was a woman who betrayed a sorcerer, and was cursed to become a Willow tree for eternity. Though it hasn't been confirmed that Weepinlass is that woman, it does bear anstriking resemblance to that of a human. This Pokemon can often be found making noises akin to that of a woman crying, and when Weepinlass is near a town, shrill shrieks can be heard at night for miles.
In battle, Weepinlass has been observed to wrap the aggressor in large, thin leaves and vines, before pulling them close to it and subdueing it with blasts of sound strong enough to break a Rhyperior's hide. Rumor says that the victim will become nutrients for nearby trees and plantlife, but this hasn't been confirmed.
